LA VENUS DE MARIO
The following boards are part of a collaborative project with students in Uruguay. The story is a romance between a woman, Clara, who has no arms and a man, Mario, who has no mouth. It is important to note when considering the opening scene that buses in South America do not stop for you if you're just standing by the bus stop. You have to wave your arms to flag down the driver or they will pass you by.
